Reservation from Notre Belle Vie Dairy Goats gives you first option AFTER any retained kids. We reserve the right to retain any kid bred by our farm at any time, at our discretion.
Unborn kids can be reserved with a $100 deposit, and reservations will be taken on a first deposit basis. If your deposit has not been paid, then your reservation is not made. (that rhymes!)
All breedings are subject to change until the doe is confirmed bred by ultrasound.
Reservations will close at 2 does and 2 bucks (if applicable; please note, bucks are not available from every doe).
We do not accept reservations based on coat or eye color.
If your reservation becomes available the balance MUST be paid in full within 14 days of receiving notice from us. Contracts not paid on time will be deemed void and the kid will be offered for sale to a new home. Deposit will not be refunded.
If your reservation is rolled over from a prior year and the price of offspring goes up, the new price also applies to your reservation.
Arrangement for transportation is solely the buyers responsibility. Due to time constraints we are not available to meet buyers for drop off.
A boarding fee of $5 per day will be added if animal is not picked up by 6 weeks of age, unless prior arrangements have been made.
Goats are guaranteed healthy at the time of sale. Once an animal leaves our property, NO guarantee is extended.
If you plan on having an animal shipped you are responsible for all additional expenses.
We only sell our goats to homes that already have goats, or plan on multi purchases. Goats are herd animals and require other goats for companionship. NO exceptions.
If you are purchasing a wether as a companion to another animal purchased from us, the wether will be offered at half price.
All our pregnant does receive CDT vaccines approximately 4 weeks before they kid in order to pass immunities on to their offspring. We recommend that you administer CDT vaccines to kids you purchase from us at 12 and 16 weeks old for the best results.
Deposits are Non Refundable, except if a reserved kid does not become available. In this case you may request that your deposit be returned, applied to another goat, or rolled over to the next breeding season.
Performance Herd Priority
Reservation priority will be given to Show and Milk Test homes. If you are not on Milk Test, do not Linear Appraise or Show
and a reservation comes in that does, it will take priority.
If you do not currently participate we highly encourage you to check out the ADGA Performance Programs that are offered. Click Here
First Right of Refusal
If in the future you decide to sell your Notre Belle Vie goat, we request the first right of refusal at fair market value.
We reserve the right to 30 straws of semen from any buck sold for the cost of collection and processing only. You agree to work with us to have your buck collected and understand this may involve taking your buck to a local collection.
When you place a deposit, or purchase an animal from Notre Belle Vie Dairy Goats you are indicating acceptance of these sales terms.

In our experience, you can safely ship a goat anywhere in the United States for about $200 to $225 through American Airlines Cargo. Health Certificates cost between $50 and $125, depending on the State the goat is being shipped to.
It is the buyers responsibility to inform Notre Belle Vie Dairy Goats of any required documentation and to cover all travel related costs including, but not limited to, health certificates, crates, and shipping costs. All goats are shipped from Ontario International Airport. Identification is required when picking your goat up at the airport.
We have successfully shipped many goats between the ages of 4 to 10 weeks, at this young age they travel very well and adjust quickly when they arrive at their new home.
